A motorcyclist and a pillion passenger have been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a crash between the motorcycle and a truck in Co Cork this morning.
The collision occurred around 7am this morning on the N20 between Buttevant and Cork City at approximately 7am.
Gardaí are currently at the scene of the two-vehicle collision.
“A motorbike and lorry collided and the motorcyclist and pillion were removed to hospital with serious injuries.
“The road is closed and local diversions are in place.
“Investigations are ongoing,” a garda spokesperson said.
