A doctors’ leader has accused the Government and HSE of appearing to “hate” medics amid warnings from hospital consultants that patients could be at risk of losing out if they are rostered at weekends.
Dr Anne Dee, the new President of the Irish Medical Organisation (IMO), who works as a public health doctor with the HSE, told consultants at the union’s annual meeting that “you are working in a system that is impossible.
