As did many of us, Bono loved Susan O’Neill’s cover of U2’s Exit in 2017. He said it “took him back in its simplicity and power”.
Talking to her near her home in Co Clare, the singer has the same power in words and feelings as she expresses what’s on her mind. It is not like having a conversation as such.
