Lar Park Lincoln, who starred in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood, Knots Landing and other projects has died. She was 63.
The news of her death was confirmed by Actors Audition Studios, a Dallas-based company she founded to help aspiring stars.
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lar Park Lincoln, celebrated actress, founder of Actors Audition Studios and America’s beloved Audition Coach, on April 22, 2025,” the company said in a statement via Facebook on Thursday, April 24. “Over her 45-year career, Lar left an unforgettable mark on Hollywood through her dynamic performances and dedication to mentoring aspiring actors.”
An official cause of death has yet to be revealed. According to reports, Lincoln previously battled breast cancer years before her death.
During her career in Hollywood, Lincoln found success in a variety of roles including the time she arrived on CBS’ Knots Landing in 1987 as Linda, the daughter-in-law of Michele Lee’s Karen Fairgate.
She appeared on the series for multiple seasons before her character was murdered by Brian Johnston (Philip Brown) in 1991.
“I would guess Linda was popular because she was so rotten and so fun at the same time,” she explained in a 2022 interview. “I studied a few people to become Linda, as she went from the brown hair to the blond meanie. I remember having lunch with [series creator] David Jacobs when he told me that they were changing my hair to blond and he said, ‘I’m doing this because you look so sweet and everyone will be shocked how you turn out.’”

Fans may also remember the actress for her performance as telekinetic “scream queen” Tina Sheppard in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood. Other roles included a spot in the 1985 CBS telefilm Children of the Night. She also was a frequent on-air guest for QVC for nearly two decades.
Away from the screen, Lincoln penned a book titled Get Started, Not Scammed. In the project, the actress shared over two decades of in-depth personal knowledge of the acting, modeling and pageant industries.
She continued to help the next generation of stars with Actors Audition Studios, which is described online as a “unique audition and on-camera training program to accelerate actors’ success.”
According to Actors Audition Studios, the family requests privacy during this time and is grateful for the outpouring of love over Lincoln’s four-decade career. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The SAG-AFTRA Foundation or The Entertainment Community Fund.
