Leylah Fernandez expands her relationship with Lululemon as a campaign star for the brand’s 2025 spring collection, which puts an emphasis on tennis kits and apparel.
“From the very beginning, Lululemon just felt like the right fit,” Fernandez said of the brand, with whom she’s had a partnership since January 2022.
The 2025 Lululemon spring collection features lightweight, sweat-wicking and water-repelling styles ideal for tennis bag essentials. Each time the 2021 U.S. Open women’s singles finalist steps on court, her kit evokes the athlete’s personality and drive, and it’s all thanks to her partnership with Lululemon.

“I’m constantly on the go because of tennis, so I need gear that can keep up with me whether I’m training, competing or traveling. What matters most to me is how I feel in the clothes, not just how they look. Being comfortable and confident on court is everything, and Lululemon totally gets that,” the Canadian tennis star explained.
Among the qualities the brand possesses, it’s the “attention to detail” that Fernandez admires the most. “Every piece feels like it was made with purpose. I love that I don’t have to compromise between performance and style — the clothes move with me, and they look great too. It’s that perfect balance.”

Fernandez’s major breakthrough came at the 2021 U.S. Open. The athlete defeated past major champions and top 10 players en route to her maiden grand slam final. Each time the Lululemon brand ambassador stepped on court, and to this day, her same “casual-chic” style and “vibe” transcended service lines. “I want my clothes to be breathable and lightweight, so I can move easily on the court, but I also like to add some personality,” she said.
Fernandez is in pursuit of another title at the Madrid Open in Spain for the clay court leg of the 2025 tennis season.
“I love playing with color and finding new ways to style pieces. A few of my favorites include the Power Pivot Training Tank Top — you can flip it from front to back to totally change up the look; and the Court Rival Track Jacket and Wide Leg Pant — I love the vintage-inspired look.”

Now heading toward the French Open (Roland-Garros) beginning May 25, Fernandez takes one of Lululemon’s tag lines for the brand’s spring collection (“Your fire is fuel”) to heart. “I love this phrase. On the court, I’m fueled by my love for the game and my drive to compete,” Fernandez said.
“I’ve always had this fire to push myself and chase big goals, and in doing so hopefully I can inspire other young athletes or kids that if you work hard and stick to a goal that you can accomplish anything. Off the court, it’s my family that keeps me grounded, they’re my biggest supporters, and spending time with them brings me so much joy.”
