Jennifer Poole, who was murdered by her ex-partner
Justice minister Jim O’Callaghan is currently trying to find a way to introduce a domestic violence register, in response to a powerful campaign by the family of Jennifer Poole.
Poole was only 24 years old when she was murdered by her former partner. She did not know that her ex, Gavin Murphy, had previous convictions, including for assaulting a former partner.
