A burglar who fled a garden centre with a trolley full of stolen shrubs and flowers and left a trail of compost behind him to lead gardaí to the man’s home nearby has been jailed for six months.
At Ennis District Court today, Judge Alec Gabbett imposed a nine month prison term and suspended the final three months on Eamon Quinn (38) for the theft of €500 theft of garden products from Vaughan’s Garden Centre, Gort Road Industrial Estate on Ennis’s Gort Rd on February 10 last.
