Do you love it when a plan comes together? If you’re in your 20s and grew up with Harry Potter, perhaps the only thing that it’s safe to have an opinion on is that most people my age have no idea who the A-Team are, let alone why JK Rowling posted a picture of herself smoking a cigar and quoting some 1980s show.
In case you’ve somehow missed the latest twists and turns in the ever-polarising gender/trans debate, the author was celebrating a ruling by the UK Supreme Court. Its unanimous decision held that the terms “woman” and “sex” in the Equality Act 2010 refer solely to biological sex assigned at birth, not to gender identity.
