These were the days they dreamed about when knocking around together in Syria, palling around in Newbridge College and playing outside the Prendergast residence in Suncroft, Kildare.
Diarmuid Mangan and Sam Prendergast go back about as long a way as a couple of 22-year-olds can and now they are lining out together for Leinster at the highest level and looking comfortable while doing so.
