Irish rugby concussion cases fall by wayside as former star David Corkery focuses on legal action in UK
Former rugby international David Corkery is to halt an Irish concussion lawsuit in which he was suing Munster Rugby and the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) and will instead pursue a separate case in the UK.
Mr Corkery (52) confirmed he had recently parted company with his Irish legal representatives and was now focused solely on participating in a major group action in the High Court of England and Wales against the sport’s governing body World Rugby and England’s Rugby Football Union (RFU).
