JoJo Siwa’s girlfriend Kath Ebbs has disabled her Instagram comments after an influx of claims that the Celebrity Big Brother star is cheating on her.
Siwa joined the ITV reality series last week and has quickly made a fast friendship with Love Island star Chris Hughes after he supported her following ex-housemate Mickey Rourke’s homophobic comments.
Over the past week, the duo have grown closer, even exchanging secret messages which prompted Big Brother to make them communicate through megaphones.
Several viewers started to wonder if their connection had turned into an unexpected romance, despite the fact that JoJo is in a committed relationship with former Neighbours star Ebbs and has recently started identifying as a lesbian.
And they brought their speculation to Ebbs’ Instagram, inundating the self-described ‘occasional actor, presenter & dj’ with comments accusing Siwa of cheating on them.
Their last two posts, which were uploaded after Big Brother started airing, do not have the option to comment, unlike her previous posts.

The now-deleted comments included taunts like: ‘Chris and [JoJo] are the UK’s favourite couple now’ and ‘JoJo is publicly cheating on you on live television’, per the Daily Mail.
Plenty have also rushed to Ebbs’ defence, however.
‘Reminder that JoJo Siwa identifies as lesbian… It’s kinda insane that people are assuming she’s bi because she has a friendship with Chris,’ @cqmerqn wrote on X.
‘Chris Hughes and Jojo Siwa is the friendship I never knew I needed,’ @tiskay said.
After months of dating rumours, the pair went public with their relationship in January 2025 when the Australian actor teased the Dance Moms star as not being able to use TikTok during the brief US ban.

A month later they attended the Australian premiere of Hadestown together.
In Tuesday night’s episode, Siwa and Hughes continued to exchange secret messages.
They were ultimately forced to reveal what they were discussing as the singer explained she had been discussing her relationship with her gender identity.
Metro senior entertainment reporter Emily Bashforth on Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa’s friendship
Men and women can be platonic without wanting to rip one another’s clothes off. They can hug and sleep beside one another without considering there might be more to it, and I highly doubt either JoJo or Chris has given it a second thought.
But when I scroll through the CBBUK hashtag, I’m served a painful reminder of just how far we have to go until women-loving-women are free to be themselves without the shadow of heteronormativity hanging over them.
I’m tired of viewers tarnishing the show by making me uncomfortable, pushing the insidious narrative that JoJo is only one male relationship away from being ‘turned’, and creating an echo chamber for Mickey’s vile comments about being able to change her.
It was a move criticised by fans who felt it was unfair she the Karma artist was made to divulge such personal information.
During the episode, she said: ‘: ‘It’s something that I’m not ready necessarily to be open about or upfront about but it has to do with gender and how do I feel.
‘Let’s put it this way. Oh my God, this is a lot. Essentially, you have female, you have male. I’ve met a lot of females and love them but don’t feel like I’m them. Met a lot of males, love them but definitely not them.’

She then clarified that she suspects she may identify as non-binary.
She said: ‘I’ve met a lot of people in my life that are non-binary and these beautiful non-binary people are who I feel the most like. It’s not something that I want to say about myself yet but it’s something that is confusing. So, that’s probably why we were talking about it last night.’
Ebbs spoke out against Rourke last week after he told Siwa that she ‘won’t be gay anymore’ after four days with him, that he would ‘tie her up’ and that he was planning to ‘vote the lesbian out real quick’.
In a social media post, Ebbs said the comments were ‘beyond disgusting’ and criticised the show for airing such ‘dangerous language’.
Rourke has since been booted out of the house for aggressive behaviour towards Hughes and inappropriate sexual comments to Ella Rae Wise.
Celebrity Big Brother continues at 9pm on ITV.
