The famous faces who sign up to Celebrity Big Brother can use their varying levels of fame to command huge paycheques to appear.
First airing between 2001 and 2008, past housemates of previous seasons include Rylan Clark, Kerry Katona, Denise Welch, and Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.
The show returned in 2024, with X Factor judges Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh among its lineup. They were joined by the likes of Love Island star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, former This Morning host Fern Britton, and eventual winner David Potts.
This year’s lineup boasts an equally impressive selection of names – including Hollywood giant Mickey Rourke, soap icons Patsy Palmer and Jack P. Shepherd, and chat show royalty Trisha Goddard.
They are joined by politician Michael Fabricant, social media superstar Jojo Siwa, Olympian Daley Thompson, TV presenter Angellica Bell, and pop star Chesney Hawkes.
Rounding out the cast are Drag Race winner Danny Beard, Towie star Ella Rae Wise, Love Islander Chris Hughes, and comedian Donna Preston.
Here’s what we know about their wealth and CBBC earnings so far.

Mickey Rourke

Initial reports suggested that Sin City star Mickey Rourke was set to enter the Celebrity Big Brother household for an eye-watering £1million.
However, the actual figure is believed to have been half that, at a £500,000 win in exchange for his time.
But with the Iron Man 2 actor having been kicked out of the house following a ‘series of incidents and warnings,’ it is rumoured that he is considering suing ITV to make sure he gets his fee.
‘Mickey won’t be receiving all his money from ITV,’ an insider told The Sun, revealing that if a celebrity gets removed from the house, ‘they don’t get the full fee’.
‘It’s as simple as that, and they will be discussing that with him. Mickey was ready to leave the house, and it ended up feeling like a mutual decision between him and ITV in the end. It was getting too much.’
Making his Hollywood debut in the late 1970s, Mickey is believed to have a net worth of around £5million.
JoJo Siwa

Singer and dancer JoJo Siwa is reportedly taking home £400,000 for her time on Celeb Big Brother.
Rising to fame with the reality TV show Dance Moms, the star has built up a following on social media sites YouTube and TikTok, becoming known for her bubbly personality and distinctive colourful hair bows.
A source told The Sun: ‘US TV gigs generally pay a lot more than their UK counterparts, so JoJo’s team will expect a minimum amount of money on the table to even consider the offer from CBB bosses.’
Of all the cast, JoJo is believed to have the highest net worth, sitting at a staggering £20million.
Trisha Goddard

This year’s third-highest-earning figure is believed to be Britain’s own chat show royalty, Trisha Goddard.
The TV icon, who was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in 2022, is said to have taken home £200,000 for her participation in the show.
And home is where Trisha was headed after becoming the second celebrity to be evicted from the house, losing out to Jack P. Shepherd and Patsy Palmer in the public vote.
Having begun her TV career in Australia in the 1980s, Trisha has racked up an impressive fortune over the past four decades and is believed to have a net worth of around £7million as of 2024.
Daley Thompson

Olympian Daley Thompson is reported to be earning £150,000 for his time on the show.
The decathlete became the third housemate to be evicted amid criticism that he barely pitched in with the cooking or housework compared to the others.
‘Every time we do something in the house, which is like cooking, washing up, a chore, he always says, “I can’t do that. Oh no, I’m out of this one. I’ve never changed a bed in my life, I can’t do that”,’ complained EastEnders star Patsy.
And why would he need to? Sportsman Daley is believed to have a net worth of £4million.
Michael Fabricant

Hoping to follow in the footsteps of Nigel Farage and Matt Hancock in making a reality TV fortune, politician Michael Fabricant was reportedly paid £120,000 for his time on CBB.
He was the first of the celebrities to be evicted, ultimately walking out the door after losing the public vote to Jack and Mickey.
‘I’m very sad to be leaving all my friends,’ the politician told hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best as he exited the house.
But we’re sure the tears didn’t last long, as politician Michael went home to a reported net worth of £2.5million.
Patsy Palmer

EastEnders icon Patsy Palmer – famous for playing Bianca Jackson in the long-running BBC soap opera – is said to be taking home £100,000 for her stint in the CBB house.
The star left viewers stunned after revealing her real name, dropping the bombshell: ‘My name’s not really Patsy Palmer, though. It’s Julie.’
Having made her debut on the soap in 1993, Patsy – or Julie – has continued to return to the BBC institution on and off over the decades.
Now living in LA, she has an estimated net worth of £9.3million.
Jack P. Shepherd

Coronation Street star Jack is also thought to be earning £100,000 for his participation in the show.
In contrast, friend and Corrie co-star Colson Smith is believed to have earned £70,000 for his time in the CBB house last year.
Having been nominated for eviction twice now,it may seem like he’s living on borrowed time, but Jack isn’t far behind current favourites Danny Beard and Chris Hughes in the running to win the competition.
Having grown up in Weatherfield, Jack is believed to be sitting on a net worth of about £7million.
Angellica Bell

Former children’s TV presenter Angellica Bell is reportedly on £80,000 for her appearance on the show.
Following her time on CBBC, Angellica graduated to co-presenter of The Martin Lewis Money Show… before being unceremoniously ‘sacked’ after six years.
The star, who won Celebrity MasterChef in 2017, is reportedly worth a cool £1million.
Chris Hughes

Swapping Casa Amor for the Big Brother house, Love Island star Chris Hughes is reportedly on £45,000.
This figure is in stark contrast to the £100,000 his fellow Love Island alumnus Ekin-Su was reportedly paid for appearing on the show last year.
But where Ekin-Su became the fourth housemate to be evicted (alongside hot sauce maestro Levi Roots in a shock double elimination), Chris is current favourite to win this year’s CBB, battling it out against Jack with odds of 10/1.
Danny Beard

Britain’s Got Talent and RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Danny Beard is reportedly dragging home £30,000 for their appearance on the show.
Since arriving in the house, Danny has emerged as one of the top contenders to walk away as the winner, with bookmakers giving odds of 3/1 before the 2025 series had even begun airing.
They are currently battling it out with Jack and Chris for the top spot when all is said and done.
Donna Preston

Actress and comedian Donna Preston is reportedly on £30,000.
Since entering the house, the Sandman star shocked her housemates by sharing how she’d seen fellow housemate Chesney Hawkes out and about, frequenting the same ‘sex clubs’ as her.
‘I’ve seen Chesney in the clubs,’ Donna admitted to Danny during a chaotic conversation between the pair.
‘That’s when you’ve been pegging?’ a disbelieving Danny asked. The comic then replied: ‘I haven’t bloody pegged Chesney. Of course, I haven’t pegged Chesney Hawkes.’
Chesney Hawkes

The one and only Chesney Hawkes is said to be earning £25,000 for his appearance on CBBC.
He may be responsible for one of the greatest earworms of all time, but the former teen heartthrob revealed that he blew every penny of the fortune he made from his hit single – all £8.2million of it.
Speaking on the My Dirty Laundry podcast, he admitted that he, as soon as he ‘made it,’ he was ‘blowing everything.’
‘I would be thrown into the hurricane, and I’d be gone. And then I’m off to Sweden, and then I’m off to New York. I never knew where I was waking up for that first year,’ he said. ‘It was mental. It was really crazy.’
After pivoting his career into songwriting for other artists, Chesney is currently believed to be worth around £8million.
Ella Rae Wise

The lowest-paid of this year’s batch, Towie star Ella Rae Wise is earning £20,000 for her time on the show.
However, the 24-year-old is said to have signed up to give her flagging fashion brand BEMEÈ a boost, with a source telling The Sun: ‘Her fashion line got off to a really good start when it launched and all her celeb mates modelled it for her – but now the website’s disappeared and nobody has posted on the social media for weeks and weeks.
‘She’s hoping CBB will give her business a boost and sell some clothes!’
Celebrity Big Brother continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV1.
