Celebrity Big Brother star Chris Hughes has confessed he ‘probably would’ kiss JoJo Siwa.
The pair have grown closer every day after sparking an unexpected friendship, which began when Chris rushed to comfort JoJo after vile homophobic comments made by Mickey Rourke.
Since then, they’ve been involved in rule breaks together, shared secret messages and moments in bed including Love Island star Chris ticking popstar JoJo’s back.
Now, Chris has admitted he’d ‘kiss’ JoJo during a conversation as he tucked her in.
During Friday’s Late and Live, AJ Odudu asked the audience: ‘Anyone wondering if Chris and JoJo are just friends or?’
The ITV reality programme then aired a clip showing Chris, 32, kissing JoJo’s forehead.
The singer, 21, was lying with her eyes shut and asking about tinned spaghetti, with Chris questioning whether they’d eat it together ‘like Lady and the Tramp?’

‘No, but we can have some together,’ JoJo laughed back.
Chris replied: ‘Course we can my darling, for you absolutely anything.’
He then leant down to kiss her and put his finger on her lips, before telling her: ‘It’s my finger, don’t worry… would I ever?’
‘Probably would, actually, yeah,’ he added, with JoJo agreeing.
‘Sucks to be you,’ she laughed back, with Chris adding: ‘It’s a compliment, that’s all.’
Watching this unfold on Late and Live, evicted housemate Daley Thompson admitted he wasn’t shocked by Chris’ comment after living in the house alongside them both.
‘No, I am not shocked,’ he said, revealing JoJo and Chris often slept in the same bed together.
Host AJ added that it seemed a bit ‘one-sided’, highlighting that JoJo shut him down.

Men and women can be platonic without wanting to rip one another’s clothes off. They can hug and sleep beside one another without considering there might be more to it, and I highly doubt either JoJo or Chris has given it a second thought.
But when I scroll through the CBBUK hashtag, I’m served a painful reminder of just how far we have to go until women-loving-women are free to be themselves without the shadow of heteronormativity hanging over them.
I’m tired of viewers tarnishing the show by making me uncomfortable, pushing the insidious narrative that JoJo is only one male relationship away from being ‘turned’, and creating an echo chamber for Mickey’s vile comments about being able to change her.
Just before going into the house, JoJo – who is in a relationship with Australian star Kath Ebbs – spoke about her sexuality and having her first girlfriend aged 16, after coming out publicly in 2021.
Speaking to Paul C Brunson on his We Need To Talk podcast, she shared: ‘I remember having a best friend, and I was 16, and we met on a cruise ship.
‘I asked her, “So when did you know you were gay?” And she was 15 at the time. And she said, “Oh, I’m not. I have a boyfriend.” And I was like, “Dude, no way”.
‘And she showed me a picture of her and her boyfriend, and she was the first girl that I ever met and I was like, “lesbian”. Never met any girl like that, but I knew she was. Anyways, we became best friends, we talked everyday, she lived in Florida and I lived in California.
‘Six months later, she comes to me, and she’s like, “Hey, I think I have to tell you something.” It was June, so it was Pride Month.
‘She says, “I think you were right.” And I was like, “that you’re gay?” She was like, “Yeah, I think I might mostly like girls”. And I was like, “Yeah, I know.”
‘Which is exactly what you’re not supposed to do to somebody. You’re not supposed to put that pressure and not supposed to assume anything. But I fully did. But yeah, I did and she was like, okay.
‘And two months later, she became my first girlfriend.’
She went on: ‘At this point I’m straight and she asked me “do you have a crush on anybody right now,” and I said, “yeah”, knowing it was her, and she said, “will you tell me who it is” and I said “no” and we played this game the whole week, she’d keep asking me.
‘And she said “will you just tell me if it’s a boy or a girl” and she was the first person that I said “I have a crush on a girl”. And she said “I knew it, I knew you were gay too, that’s why you cared so much about me being gay”.’
JoJo said that at the time she didn’t want people to know, adding: ‘We kissed that night and it was beautiful and it was sweet and that’s when I knew.’
Since JoJo has been in the house and faced speculation about her friendship with Chris, her partner Kath has taken action after comments JoJo was ‘cheating’.
They’ve been forced to turn off their comments on their own social media posts after an influx of trolling and taunting.
After months of dating rumours, Kath and JoJo went public with their relationship in January 2025 when the Australian actor teased the Dance Moms star as not being able to use TikTok during the brief US ban.
At the time, JoJo said she was ‘so happy’ and in a ‘very mature relationship’.
‘It’s taught me so much about life. It’s taught me so much about love and respect, and it’s a beautiful thing,’ she told People.
‘It’s different in more ways than I can count. I wouldn’t even know what to say the biggest is ‘cause just everything is so different and special.’
