Celebrity Big Brother fans ‘disgusted’ by Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa’s behaviour

Celebrity Big Brother was forced to remind Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa to use ‘human toilets’ during a bizarre new task on tonight’s episode.

This evening Big Brother forced the celebrity housemates to pretend to be cats for the day, providing litter trays in the bathroom.

It seems no one was expecting Love Island’s Chris, 32, and JoJo, 21, to actually use them, but both contestants did indeed urinate in them – and covered up the mess with their hands – leaving fans ‘disgusted’.

On X @PastelUnicorn5 said, ‘I am disgusted!’ while @Nintendoubt815 commented: ‘Nah as if they’re rubbing their hands in that pissy litter box without washing them after.’

‘Are they actually peeing in a litter tray…. What the actual hell,’ said @itsjordanmc, as an outraged @BethanyFoden said: ‘Ew wtf just use the toilet! That’s disgusting!’

For the strange game, all the celebs started with nine lives and had to act like cats, or lose a life. This included prowling with pride, stretching their paws, and even eating and drinking from cat bowls – but the instructions never said pee in the litter trays…

Patsy Palmer was tasked with chasing laser pointers and Ella Wise was told to make catty comments about other housemates, which she executed admirably.

Chris, 32, and JoJo, 21, however were determined to embrace their inner cat that they even use a litter tray that Big Brother has put in the bathroom. 

This move surprised the omnipresent Big Brother, who quickly told the pair ‘This is Big Brother. House cats are reminded that they can use the human toilets.’

So far, we’ve had the usual bickering between housemates, new friendships have blossomed, and then there’s all the controversy around Mickey Rourke. 

Yet, fans have declared a strange run in between Patsy Palmer and JoJo in the Big Brother bathroom one of the best moments of the new season. 

The exchange happened when the pair ran into each other in the bathroom, where JoJo was brushing her teeth. 

Looking to make some small talk with her housemate, the Dance Moms star said: ‘Crazy, that it’s already Thursday. It’s moving so fast.’

To which Patsy, 52, rather dryly replied: ‘Yeah, I hope it hurries up’. 

Hilariously, when the internet star followed up by asking if the actress felt like time was moving slowly, the EastEnders legend answered: ‘Yeah, I’m kind of like…’ and walked out of the bathroom, leaving JoJo alone. 

Quite what Patsy is ‘kind of like’ we may never know, but we do know the moment went down well with fans. 

Under a clip of the incident, shared on X, fans left laughing emojis and replies saying, ‘lol’ with @gtothet123 claiming Patsy’s ‘getting all my votes forever for this.’

It was @DannyWxo who crowned the pair’s awkward chat as the ‘best moment of the series this far.’

Others were quite sympathetic to the EastEnders star having to deal with someone so cheerful when she was just trying to use the bathroom. 

@Xcyz174918 wrote: ‘Being that age as a woman, yep, get it lol’ while @Celtmcdiarmad said it’s ‘little wonder’ she’s unimpressed by all the ‘youthful exuberance’ in the house.

Sadly, not everyone saw the funny side and decided to attack JoJo. At least one commentator said they thought JoJo was being fake, and only interested in camera time, before adding they’d have walked away as well.

@amszzy meanwhile accused the youngest housemate of ‘thinking she runs the house.’

JoJo has come under a lot of scrutiny while in the Big Brother house, most notably for her friendship with Love Island star Chris, which began after he defended her from homophobic comments made by Mickey.

The pair have been almost inseparable ever since, regularly sharing a bed, and they were even caught exchanging secret messages – after which Big Brother punished them by making them talk through megaphones.

Some viewers have speculated about the nature of the pair’s intense bond, despite JoJo dating former Neighbours star Kath Ebbs.

Ebbs has been forced to turn replies off on their most recent Instagram posts to stop cruel fans flooding their posts with taunts about their partner.

Not everyone has been so quick to judge Chris and Jojo’s friendship and a quick scroll through X will bring up plenty of fans defending the pair.

‘Am I the only one finding it weird how everyone is making out JoJo and Chris’s friendship like y’all do realise she’s a lesbian, right?’ wrote @killerparadise. 

While @Allie_Thomas_94 added: ‘They’re literally bullying Chris and JoJo for having a friendship and a laugh. Melts.’
