Anne Hathaway Shimmers at Ralph Lauren Fall 2025 Show

Anne Hathaway joined a bevy of A-list attendees and high-profile guests for the Ralph Lauren fall 2025 ready-to-wear presentation on Thursday in New York City. The Oscar-winning actress sat in the front row alongside such stars as Michelle Williams and Naomi Watts.

For the fashion show, Hathaway opted for neutrals with a playful, modern spin. The centerpiece of the actress’ look was a tailored trench coat with a slightly oversized silhouette, long sleeves and an exaggerated collar for added drama.

Beneath the trench coat, Hathaway wore a simple, crisp white shirt with a scoop neckline for added color contrast. A touch of sparkle and contemporary edge was added thanks to the shimmering beige, high-waisted trousers Hathaway wore with distressed, torn elements. She completed the look with sandal heels.

As for accessories, Hathaway kept the color palette of her wardrobe warm, wearing pieces of gold jewelry by Bulgari including earrings, a necklace and dainty rings. Hathaway’s hair was styled in a sleek ponytail by Orlando Pita. Her makeup featured bold brows and smokey eyes courtesy of artist Kristofer Buckle. Hathaway’s look was curated by stylist Erin Walsh, who also collaborates with Selena Gomez and Mindy Kaling, among others.

Thursday’s collection presentation featured an “Edwardian-infused lineup,” Emily Mercer wrote in WWD’s review of the collection. “There’s a certain moodiness to this collection and I thought it would be nice to show the collection during the day with good light to convey the juxtapositions you see in this collection,” the American designer told WWD of fall’s “Modern Romantics” inspiration, per Mercer’s review.

“The Ralph Lauren woman doesn’t fit into just one box — she is multifaceted. She’s whimsical and dresses based on how she feels and where she’s going. I just want to make pieces that women can wear in their everyday lives, something that makes them feel confident,” Lauren said.

Highlights from the collection included a paisley belted blazer, a soft pleated maxi skirt and leather and suede aviator jacket with hand-crafted elements.
