Aldi is bringing back a ‘sell-out’ item to its shelves next week – and the supermarket says ‘when they’re gone, they’re gone’.
The German retailer has announced the return of its Specially Selected Pistachio Creme due to high customer demand.
The popular spread originally launched in November 2024 and fans were quick to rave about its creamy, nutty flavour, telling others to ‘run, don’t walk’ to pick up a jar from Aldi’s shelves.
Shoppers can find it in store again from April 27, alongside the Specially Selected Milk & Hazelnut Creme spread, which will also be returning.
Aldi says the spread, made with finely ground nuts, is a ‘perfectly sweet and creamy topping for croissants, pastries and even ice cream.’
Both spreads quickly sold out when they were first launched, with users remarking on TikTok that they tasted ‘insane’.
One user, @well.beingjade said: ‘Oh my goodness it was so good I could have eaten the full jar.’
Another user, @gemmahouston, commented: ‘Omg I’m on my way for some.’ To which Jade replied: ‘Run it’s sooo good.’
One TikToker @stephanieshaw58 told her followers: ‘You all need to run to Aldi.’ After trying the creamy spread she said: ‘Wow. That is insane.’
A 200g of the spread costs just £1.79. Aldi remarks that this is £2.96 cheaper than the M&S alternative – a 220g Pistachio Creme spread priced at £4.75.
Pistachio lovers can also get their hands on Aldi’s new ‘ultimate decadent dessert, the Specially Selected Pistachio Tiramisu for £2.49 for a two-pack.

The Specially Selected Chocolate & Hazelnut Tiramisu will also be available to buy.
The spread isn’t the only treat that has sent shoppers into a frenzy. Earlier this month, the supermarket launched ‘the UK’s first’ Dubai Chocolate Style Ice Cream.
The frozen snack hit stores on April 14, priced at £3.99 for a 500ml tub. Fans of Dubai chocolate – the viral combo of pistachio and kadayif – were quick to get their hands on it.
However, reviews were mixed. TikTok food reviewer @angelina.pj said: ’This does not taste like pistachio at all. It’s not very pleasant to eat.’
Another TikTok account @uknewestfoods described it as ‘disgusting’. She added: ‘I was so disappointed.’
However, another user @hollybennettxx said: ‘This is probably one of my favourite Dubai chocolate products I’ve ever had. That is sensational.’
Elsewhere, shoppers have been raving about a new Lidl bakery item that’s been hailed as ‘insanely good’.
The new product is a blondie, swirled with cinnamon and topped with a white icing, and it costs just 89p per slice.
A snap of the treat was shared on Facebook by New Foods UK, and hundreds of people responded with their thoughts.
Clare O’Sullivan was a fan, sharing: ‘I had one on Friday, it was gorgeous.’ And a customer known only Shelby also thought ‘it was gorgeous’.
Similarly, Leah Conway replied: ‘Had one of these today. Was lovely, lots of cinnamon.’ While Mike Swailes proclaimed: ‘89p. M&S could never.’
